As a Great Tythe Barn wedding photographer, I get to capture weddings in all seasons, but there’s something special about autumn. Dan and Megan’s November wedding at Great Tythe Barn was a perfect example of this, with stunning autumnal colours providing a beautiful backdrop to the day. The golden leaves and rustic surroundings made for some great photo opportunities.
Like most of my couples, Dan and Megan were a little nervous about their couple portraits. It’s completely understandable, but with my natural approach—incorporating lots of movement and walking shots—we quickly settled into a relaxed rhythm and got some great shots.
A big part of the day was celebrating with their family, including their little one, which made for some lovely moments to capture. And, of course, Rufus the dog was there too, adding even more energy to the day! Pets always bring an extra dynamic to weddings, and it was great to get some good snaps of him.
